Beverley Environmental Engineering have completed the commissioning of a Domestic/General Waste Incinerator supplied to Mobil Producing Nigeria and installed at the Qua Iboe Terminal.
A two-stage controlled air incinerator complete with hydraulic ram loader designed to handle 750 kg/h of waste material with calorific value ranging between 1000 and 3000 Kcal/kg operating between 8 and 10 hours per day.
The gaseous discharge to atmosphere will conform with FEPA regulations without the need for additional flue gas treatment plant.
Integrated waste disposal facility on Bonny Island (Nigeria)
Beverley Environmental Engineering have successfully completed the commissioning of an integrated waste disposal facility on Bonny Island (Nigeria).
The plant supplied to a consortium of Technip, Snamprogretti, Kellogg Brown and Root, and JGC for Nigeria LNG disposes of all the domestic waste, clinical waste and sewage sludge produced on the site together with aqueous effluent contaminated with diethylamine from the process.
The total project value was circa £1 million and incorporated a two-chamber controlled air incinerator with automatic waste loading and de-ashing, a two-stage thermal oxidiser, and a flue gas cleaning plant to meet rigorous environmental emission standards.
Beverley Environmental Engineering were also awarded the contract for equipment to handle additional effluent from the expansion project.
Beverley Environmental Engineering have successfully completed a project at a leading automobile component manufacturer in the North West of England.
A Thermal Oxidiser with natural gas burner and an external recuperative heat exchanger for fume pre-heating was installed to destroy VOC fumes extracted from the manufacturing process.
Additionally, heat from the oxidiser exhaust is recovered via a 660kW thermal fluid heat recovery unit complete with a Beverley Hi-Temp thermal fluid pump. The thermal fluid is then used to provide heat back to the manufacturing process.
The stack, control system, and associated thermal fluid ancillaries were also supplied and installed by Beverley Environmental Engineering.
Beverley Environmental Engineering has recently completed a project for a large North East refinery for the supply and commissioning of two 1200kW twin coil thermal fluid heaters complete with CS5 Beverley Hi-Temp circulating pump package, and 13,600 litre expansion tank. The heaters are being used to maintain the temperature of Bitument in storage tanks.
Photos of the equipment leaving our fabricators prior to installation are shown left.
